What's the hardest part about looking for a new job?

For me? Being a college student, one of the hardest parts is finding a place that will simply hire you. Too many places reject you solely on the basis of you being a student and because you are unable to devote every waking hour to their company.

There's that and then there's task of finding an opening where you're able to find experience. Specifically in a management/office setting(s). Secretarial jobs usually come with the request or requirement of one to three years experience of working in an office environment. Difficult to have that under your belt when you're just venturing into that territory...

Internships seem to be the only opening we have to gain experience for any and all careers. Unfortunately, when working through your school, even those can sometimes come with their own set of issues (such as students with financial aid having priority over those of us who don't qualify for free government money). The odds are stacked against us.

I completely drew a blank after forty and just started typing variations... Can you tell I'm bored?

Wow. Only 37%? I thought I was way geekier than that. Maybe because this test is measures you knowledge of science fiction more than it tests your overall nerdiness. *shrugs* Either way... It was kind of cute.

Describe your dream house (even if it's not a house).

My dream home? Um... I wouldn't want too much space (the more space I have, the more I fill it with useless junk), so either an industrial-syle loft in the city or a craftman style house upstate. It would have four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a media room and a wetbar somewhere on the rooftop deck/in the finished basement. Wood, lucite and/or concrete flooring  and countertops are a total must. I like the contemporary modern motif - you know, bright, vibrant colors, quasi-minimalism and a dynamic array of materials - but I still would want the inside of the home to be reflective of the time period in which my place was built. Does that make sense?
